Ladies, park your smugness at the door. Seems like male drivers truly are more proficient than female drivers at steering their automobiles in a spot, if you consider a new investigation out of the German counter.
At head-on, reverse and parallel parking, male drivers did better than women by driving their vehicles in the center of the space, according to the analysis which was reported in a UK daily.
Findings from the study also showed that the female drivers took noticeably more time to park in the approved manner, whilst also not carrying out the task as accurately as their male counterparts.
I have to get rid of my 2001 Suzuki Jimny (priced at roughly $5K) because the current one is, at present, too undersized (2 adults, 1 child and another on the way).
I should state that I have been content with the vehicle, I'm not a pedal burner and the car struggles to do 110 kph but that's okay; I am, actually, merely selling as its size is too small for family lifestyle.
Feel free to propose any suggestions around this value that are:
a) bigger
b) similar low emission
c) satisfactory on small drives (seeing that that's what we primarily do)
d) good on mileage

I would really be looking forward to buying my new car, only it should not be extremely costly, nonetheless be a vehicle that I can depend on, besides being one that is unproblematic to take care of.
Basically, if the car which I speak of has treated you acceptably but you specifically must replace it with something which gives you more space, in that case what would you choose? I am fond of the exterior of the Nissan Xterra. But I think it will be tough to stumble on one within the given price range. All wheel drives can be handy for us because we have our home in the mountains and a few off road tracks exist, however it's not compulsory for the car to be an SUV.
While I wait I think I'll simply keep driving around in a rental motorcar
Each and every one of your suggestions would be vastly valued.
My old man just returned his Toyota 4Runner and is looking to rent a new one. He already articulated that the previous SUV was a bit too rough on his posterior and also that the power was more than he wanted… So he's on the lookout for a 4 cylinder or a diminutive 6, and it needs to be SUV because he enjoys kayaking, etc… + this is the only spacious car in the family, I drove his vehicle several times to shift things from one place to another because I drive a Toyota Prius and my wife a Beetle.

Nonetheless, the cost; it's without doubt under US $30k after taxes and fees.
He did like the GMC Acadia, but it's way too underpowered, the Turbo version has admirable power and drives great, but for that much he feels he could get something else.
He received a good bargain at turbocharged 4-cylinder engine 200-hp 2.0-liter Volkswagen Passat … but he is concerned with reliability given that our Audi A6 and VW Beetle were constantly having problems. I suggested that through a 36-month contract he shouldn't have any troubles (as opposed to driving the Jeep Wrangler just as he did for over 4 years).
Next there is the new Kia Sorento, a pretty darn enjoyable car, one can smell superiority all over when you enter inside… He also suggested that he might have bought the car already if not for the overly irritating salesperson… I think after taxes it gets to $32k or so, however he does seem to enjoy the vehicle very much.
He drove the Toyota FJ Cruiser (4 cylinders) and was of the opinion that it handled like crap… I didn't get to inspect that one, but he does look to be sure that his new SUV will not be a Toyota.
If you are aware of any worthy choices that he could think about while not having to spend a ridiculous amount of money, your ideas are most welcome.
